Just lay on your couch and watch TV so nothing happens to you... Out of billions of tires, a few blow out from age and it makes the news? I wonder what OTHER variables there are. Weight, pressure, miles... Somehow, these were never even mentioned. Even if the US had a law like Britain, the first story would've still happened. They were 4 years old when bought, the British law lets them get 6 years old. I like how they villified the Sears manager who did absolutely nothing wrong. Lol, another thing, they show a separated tread on the side of the highway at the end. What they don't mention is that there is only a .001% (my made up number, no source) chance that it is from a passenger car tire that was old when it was sold. Semi retreads come off all of the time.If this is "startling" to you, I am assuming that you buy lottery tickets and are expecting to win...
